Neno Language Services celebrating tenth anniversary

neno 10 years_Fotor

Dear NLS customers, collaborators and partners,

We are truly honoured, delighted and proud to share a great milestone for our company. This year marks the tenth anniversary since the foundation of Neno Language Services. Since our first shaky but daring steps back in 2007, we have come a long way as language services providers.

So far, we have enjoyed a pretty happy ride and gone through a few rough patches. We have weathered the challenging economic times and we have a clear vision of our future growth. However, none of this would have been possible without you.
We would like to extend our gratitude to each and every one of you, from the first to the most recent customer. You are all equally treasured.
Thanks to your support, we have expanded our in-house staff, our external collaborators network, we have moved to new and more accommodating premises and above all we have a brand new, more user-friendly and much more detailed website. We are committed to serving you to the best of our ability as proven by the kind words you shared on our testimonials section, and for which we thank you immensely.

However, our organisation would never have come this far without our collaborators who helped meet and beat some tough demands over the years helping build the trust our customers have in us. A big thank you to all our collaborators from all corners of the globe. Whether translators, interpreters, teachers, accountants, labour advisers, IT specialists or other partner agencies, your professional approach has meant so much for our growth as an organisation.
Having professionals like you with us gives us more confidence that we can meet even the toughest of demands. It is our sincere hope that our collaboration, founded on respect and mutual trust, will go on for many years to come.

As the coordinator of NLS, translator and interpreter, I often ponder over the satisfaction I get from my profession. The first that comes to my mind is definitely the sense of gratification. The fact that our very first customer is still with us ten years later is priceless. However, even though we leave no stone unturned to meet our customers’ needs, unfortunately we have lost a few along the way. As disappointing as it is, it is a constant reminder that we can’t afford complacency and we need to up our game.

Another source of gratification is the human warmth in our day to day relations with our customers. Though our work is mainly on-line, a warm good morning on the other end of the line when you call to place a request, a thank you here and there as we clarify some point, a hearty laughter as we go about business or a virtual pat on the shoulder for a job well done brightens our days and makes us feel appreciated. Hence, we will multiply our efforts not to let you down.

As we mark this milestone, I would like to end these few remarks you will find in our new blog by committing to continue doing our very best to forge an even stronger partnership both as customers and collaborators. We know there is a lot of room for improvement and we will do our level best to get the closest to perfection possible.

Lastly, the entire staff of NLS wishes you all a serene and gratifying 2017, hoping to keep old friends and make new ones along the way.

Mr. Hillary Ngaine Kobia

NLS Coordinator
