Variant of simultaneous, in which the interpreter translates in a low voice (from French “chuchoter”, or “whisper”), to a small group of listeners (2 or 3 people), without the use of equipment.
It is recommended for small groups and informal or short events.
Nowadays, we are all constantly connected. After COVID-19 which erased in person events and given the advancement of technology, today we have a new interpretation method: Online interpretation. Interpreters operate remotely, through digital platforms (Zoom, teams, Google meet, etc.), offering a flexible, fast and accessible service anywhere.
It is the ideal solution for virtual meetings, meetings and remote conferences. This enabled to reduce logistical costs, both for renting the necessary equipment for in person attendance events and for costs relating to travel, board and lodging for guests and interpreters, same case applying to costs related to setting up the location. At the same time, it allows to maintain the quality of the required translation.
